If you’ve read my ‘About’ page you know that none of my recipes are or will be original so I’m coming at you with this matcha latte recipe I got from one of my favorite radio personalities, Amy Brown from The Bobby Bones Show (who also has a great podcast btw). Comment below if you’re a fan too!
Anyway, I really like this recipe because it spices up a regular old matcha tea and is super quick and easy to make and pretty much guilt-free. Which I’m all about since I’m trying to run out my door before the crack of dawn every morning. You can drink it iced or hot but I’ve only tried this recipe iced so far.
No long narrative. Check out the recipe below.
- 1 cup almond milk (I use unsweetened original but you can use vanilla or sweetened also)
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp matcha powder
- 1 scoop collagen (optional)
- 3 drops of liquid stevia (I’m not a huge fan of stevia so I’m going to try adding a bit of honey next time instead)
- 5 shakes of cinnamon (or to taste)
Add it all together in your blender and mix it up for 15-20 seconds and… you’re done!
